Shelves form 9"w x 11 1/2"d x 2 1/4"h letter-size compartments, adjustable in 2 1/2" increments to form larger compartments. Black plastic molding is a convenient labeling area (labels included). Each hardboard shelf holds up to 15 lbs. All units stackable. 39 1/4" units stack up to three high, or 72 compartments. Quick and easy assembly.
